ANZ CEO, Vietnam, Tareq Muhmood said: “Less than a year ago, we visited one of these
schools for the first time and decided that the Project needed to happen. Together with
financial support, our ANZ staff from Vietnam and other countries have contributed over 3,000
volunteering hours towards this project in its first year. I’m thrilled with the great progress and
continued support from our Partner – SCC and local Government which have helped us go this

Director of SCC, Paul Finnis added: “We are very pleased to see the schools are ready just in
time for the new school year. Nearly 500 disadvantaged children in Long My will benefit from

drive, enthusiasm, commitment and support from ANZ and the Project 3E team.”
Apart from building schools and bringing MoneyMinded – an ANZ flagship financial literacy

Working in conjunction with Hau Giang Education and Training Department, Project 3E aims at
providing quality education to fight poverty, enrich people’s lives and support the employment
prospects of more than 4,000 disadvantaged children and young people in Long My district,
Hau Giang Province.
