The Program Director will evaluate the potential student’s ability to communicate verbally, past experience and educational background. The ability to participate in clinical rotations and student’s reason for wanting to be enrolled in the program will also be reviewed. Florida State Drivers License & S.S. card Providing students with the necessary support and guidance including counseling, remediation and tutoring. Ensuring that students have equipment available to learn, practice, and perfect their skills and knowledge. Hiring faculty who are experts in their field and knowledgeable in these disciplines. 5. High School Diploma, G.E.D. or intent to graduate. 6. Documentation of an annual physical exam within the last twelve months and be in good physical health 7. Current immunizations (including TB & MMR) 8. Background check & Drug Screen (non-refundable) 9. Pass a NCEMS basic aptitude test. Ensuring that the students have access to a wide variety of clinical experience through affiliation agreements for clinical rotations and field externships. Classes are open for 12-18 students and selection is on a first come first serve basis. Nature Coast Emergency Medical EMT Courses will be using e-books. Tablets are part of your tuition and are yours to keep at the end of the class.
