A: The link between diabetes and hearing loss is actually stronger among people who were
60 or younger than older adults. Studies show younger people with diabetes had a 2.6
times higher likelihood of impaired hearing.

Life Enhanced by Technology!
Dr. Kasewurm’s Professional Hearing Services is proud to present a huge breakthrough
in the hearing industry with new technology!
We live in a noisy world and people with hearing loss usually experience difficulties hearing well in restaurants and in crowded rooms.
While there is no hearing device that can eliminate background noise,
imagine walking into a packed restaurant and having the noise automatically dim to your liking, or hearing voices sharply and clearly when your phone rings
without even having to pick up the telephone. Consider a world where you are able to listen to music without headphones, or simply hear conversations clearly, regardless of the
background noise.
"This new technology has made a big difference in our lives—we can talk again.”
- Grover, current patient
“I’m pretty sure the hearing aids saved our marriage.”
- Sharon, spouse of a current patient
In addition, they can work specifically with the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch so you can
stream all audio directly to your hearing aids! Imagine your hearing aids acting as wireless speakers!
