Marilyn leads the global product group for solutions that help clients develop a compelling innovation
strategy by defining and prioritizing market opportunities, and then filling the pipeline with compelling
ideas that drive growth.
As Senior Partner at Arbor Strategy Group (now part of GfK), Marilyn was credited with developing
GfK’s framework for predicting where consumers and categories are headed bringing higher ROI’s
to clients’ innovation stage gate decisions.
A recognized expert in market trends and innovation best practices, Marilyn led the creation of
NewProductWorks, GfK’s innovation resource center, a hands-on center for best practice learning in
new product development.
Other related experience includes two years as an adjunct professor (Ithaca College – NY) and
eight years of client-side responsibilities (at Del Monte, for both Canada and US and at RJR Foods
in US), with a focus on innovation strategy and roll-out.
Marilyn received her Bachelor of Applied Science–Consumer Behavior, Food Marketing degree from
the University of Guelph, Canada.
