The Pit Crew (aka Con-
vention Planning Team) is
working feverishly to complete the review of your proposal submissions for our
upcoming convention in
Indianapolis (Nov. 3-7). Because Indy is the recognized
racing capital of the world,
our convention theme is ACCELERATE
Racing into the Future. Our
featured keynote is Professor Gráinne Conole (University of Leicester), a dynamic
speaker with deep expertise
in emerging technologies
and learning design. We will
have the traditional sessions
Posters, Roundtables, Presidential) and we have some
exciting new opportunities
for sharing and collaboration: PechaKucha Panels; a Racer’s Lounge where convention attendees will be
able to gather, plug in devices and network; unique and diverse Study Tours;
Saturday Practitioner Workshops (hosted by SMT & TED); new division-defined competitions; door prizes; and other surprises await! Convention favorites are also in the schedule: First Timers, Breakfast with Champions, Featured
