Unique Things about us...
Pastor Scott has no shoes.
I mean, he does own them,
just doesn’t preach in them.
This is because it helps him
remember God’s Presence is
always with us. (Ex. 3:5)
We say the Shema. This is
from Jesus’ own lips (Matt.
22:37) and He would have
said it 2 maybe 3 times
daily. Because we want to
be like Him we choose to
remember Him in this way.
The rock wall upfront is a
dry stack Texas Limestone
which reminds us of the
Western Wall in Jerusalem.
The wall is an historic place
of worship and prayer and
it helps us remember we too
are a house of worship
and prayer.
(Isaiah 56:7 - Matt. 21:13)

Personal Prayer Appointments
Sometimes we face challenges in life that “beat us up” mentally, emotionally, and spiritually
or block us from believing and living fully into our identity as children of God. A personal
prayer appointment focuses on letting Father, Son and Holy Spirit give us TRUTH and move
us to a place of healing and wholeness. To make an appointment visit our web site at http://
www.connect2riverside.com/prayer.php (at the bottom of the page). All appointments are
confidential.
KEEP YOUR LOVE ON - 8 Week Study
Keeping your love on. It’s a hard thing to do. Sometimes it’s the hardest thing to do. But if you
want to build healthy relationships with God and others, learning to keep your love on is non–
negotiable....

Hey Men,
Come join us for our first Men’s gathering of 2015! Bring a steak, some chicken or
fish, or what ever delights your palette. We will have a grill going for all the guys to
cook over or get assistance with. We will have side dishes and drinks. Feel free to
bring something if you feel led to share but its not necessary. We will have a good
time mingling and will have some conversation about things we would like to do in
2015.
Put the date on your calendar: February 24th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Riverside.
If the weather turns bad on us,we will move it either into the building or up to the
loft. If you have any questions, contact one of the guys on the leadership team. Hope
to see you there. Open to Men and young men 13 and older.

Sunday Night Community Group
We will not be gathering tonight due to the Super Bowl but will be back together next

We will look at God’s wrath scriptures vs. His love for us, as an example of topics that
we will dive into! Join us and bring your own scriptures that you would love to inquire
about! For more information contact Teresa Moore 210-316-7588. Hope to see you
with us from 6-8 in the main sanctuary!
