POSITION DESCRIPTION Date: Dec 16 Job Title: Logistics and Service Assistant Job Number: Reports to: (title) Service manager Job Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm Pay Grade: Depending on experience Purpose: Logistics and service support of sales staff and customers Major Responsibilities: 1. Pack and dispatch sales orders, receipt in shipment order 2. Maintain records inside ERP system 3. Pre-deliver check of good before sending to custom 4. Calibration and maintenance of environmental instruments. 5. Completes daily/routine office management tasks. 6. Keeps information current and provides monthly reports. 7. Maintain official documents and records. Qualifications: (Specific experience, skill, education required) 1. Scientific instrument experience preferable or scientific background. 2. Fluent Japanese, English ability a plus 3. Computer knowledge. 4. Ability to work with outside contractors/vendors. Other Requirements: Competencies: (Behaviors necessary to perform this position) 1. Attention to detail and ability to keep organized, readable records. 2. Ability to multi-task under pressure. 3. Good interpersonal and communication skills. 4. Ability to take the initiative to correct processes or procedures. 5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all employees and main/customers and maintain confidentiality.
